Sandra Charlemagne co- founder

I am a qualified consultant social worker and an accredited family mediator. I specialise in working with families and their children. I am a co-founder of Family Support and Mediation, which has practices in London and Norfolk.

I am registered as a social worker with Social Work England. I am a member of the Family Mediators Association. I am also registered with the Family Mediation Council and qualified to undertake Mediation Information and Assessment Meetings (MIAM) and mediate in the private sector and legal aid.

I strive to create an environment in which both parties put aside their differences and, during separation and divorce, reach agreement that is fair and reasonable. I am committed to ensuring that parents are supported to make good decisions for their children, even when times are difficult.

I have worked with families for over 30 years, in both public and private law arenas. I have worked with a number of top law firms and their clients, as a specialist contact supervisor and independent social worker. I am also an experienced family group conference coordinator and parenting capacity assessor.

I am a qualified trainer, and have facilitated workshops for parents who are separated or divorced and who wish to continue positively co-parenting their children. I believe strongly in continuing professional development and have recently undertaken training in parental alienation, parental conflict and perinatal mental health.

I am the author of My life, My Story, a book written for all children but designed to help those who have experienced parental separation, adoption, or foster care to develop a sense of control over their story-past, present and future.

The team at Family Support And Mediation are experienced social workers and mediators.
